GLOBAL MAPPING INSTALLATION

As the centerpiece for a multinational investment bank’s 150th anniversary event at The Shed at Hudson Yards, the global mapping installation was an illuminated and celebratory representation of their office locations around the world. At 70 feet wide and 36 feet high, the installation was comprised of 70 globe light pendants, 2,300 square feet of metallic copper vinyl and over 1,500 linear feet of cable, conveying the success of the company for an audience of their clients. Each globe was catalogued and assigned specific distances from each other as well as their length from the flying truss from which they were suspended, and carefully adjusted into final placement on site to account for human perspective.
